PERPLEX & The Big Sleep
PERPLEX Film Festival takes place in Chicago and one of the key movies promoted is The Big Sleep. Below is a marketing self-mailer campaign that was made to be mailed out to potential festival-goers. The first fold reveals the word PERPLEX made out of fragments that are scattered throughout the entire design. Since the film festival is focused on murder mystery movies, the first unfold resembles the idea of putting all the pieces together. The Big Sleep movie poster is right below the self-mailer. All the people on the murder board are characters from the movie. The lettering was made from hand-created stamps to add a unique texture.
